About the Center
Our Mission
The Center for Family Policy and Research advances understanding of children, youth, families, and communities through innovative research, knowledge translation, and meaningful engagement. By connecting research, practice, and collaboration, CFPR generates insights, supports professionals and programs, and contributes to efforts that promote well-being across the lifespan.
Our History
Continuing a legacy of research, learning, and engagement.

- conducts research and disseminates evidence-based findings to inform policymakers and to enhance program development;
- facilitates collaboration and provides leadership for systems-building efforts at the local, state and national levels; and
- works in communities to provide education and support services to programs that serve children, youth and families.
