About Our Rental Spaces
The Center for Family Policy and Research (CFPR) offers flexible, welcoming spaces designed for meetings, workshops, trainings, and collaborative gatherings. Conveniently located near the University of Missouri’s main campus, CFPR provides an accessible setting with onsite parking and spaces that can be tailored to a variety of needs.
Whether you’re hosting a small meeting, bringing a team together for a workshop, or planning a larger collaborative event, our spaces offer a comfortable, professional environment designed to help your gathering run smoothly.
Available Rooms
Quarry Conference Room
The Quarry Conference Room is a flexible meeting and presentation space well suited for lectures, trainings, and mid-sized gatherings. The room offers a preset classroom-style setup for up to 43 people, along with Zoom Room technology and access to a nearby kitchen for food service.

The Rock Room
The Rock Room is a large, flexible meeting and event space well suited for presentations, trainings, and receptions. The room offers a preset classroom-style setup for up to 78 people, along with Zoom Room technology, natural light, and direct access to a kitchen for food service.

The Board Room
The Board Room is available for use by CFPR faculty and staff. To reserve the room, email Sharon Ivy and request a reservation.
Reserve a Room
Interested in reserving the Quarry Conference Room or Rock Room? Use the University of Missouri’s reservation system to check availability and submit your request.
To reserve a room:
- Click the Reserve a Room button below and log in to the EMS reservation system.
- Select “Request a Large Meeting/Event Space.”
- Under “I Know What Room I Want,” enter “Rock” or “Quarry,” depending on the room you would like to reserve.
- Select the desired room from the drop-down menu.
- In the pop-up window, click “Add Room.”
- You can then review the room’s features, select your preferred date and time, and continue with your reservation.

CFPR is located at Entrance #6 on the northeast side of the Rock Quarry Center. Look for signs directing you to our entrance and visitor parking.
